David Baerwald - don't want to babble on in stereotypical fandom synchophant style, but thanks for the tunes. AFM and the bottom line show are cherished additions to the cd rack.
Dan - the site is wonderful. Don't stop.
Chris S. - thanks for the favour of the copies. I appreciate it very much.
Been spinning AFM and the Bottom Line all evening since they arrived.
Every time I hear "Boomtown" I think back to a certain night in 1987 not long after I'd discovered that album, lying very drunk on the floor of a high rise condominium in Calgary with my head between two speakers as the album blared, wondering what the hell I had done with life in dropping out of school and getting a job while "all that money makes such a succulent sound" echoed through my brain.
Needless to say, it wasn't a fun night, but the memory of it is surprisingly amusing.
Good gosh, its been 13 years...

p.s. that still stands as one of my all time favourite turns of DB's phrases. Where on earth do they come from?
