At 16 I became a huge David & David-fan - growing up in Norway above the polar circle. I got the boomtown-single first, and then bought the cd... (I believe it was my third CD ever)
Boomtown has always frequented my CDplayer from time to time. (If it was vinyl it would have had holes in it)
It had a immense impact on me, and is one of the records I cherish the most. I'm a musician myself and I haven't bothered to learn other peoples songs, but I know at least one by heart; "Heroes" from Boomtown.
I always wondered what happened to David & David, but I haven't - until now - gotten around to find out...
I better see if I can find some of David's records on store now...
