A resistance, though, is inherently the choir. How would it benefit the Democrats to cede the news space the way you advocate? What does it mean in this context to work the refs? Who are the refs? And while I will be mildly surprised if the Smith report isn't leaked, that also will be only for the choir. As has been well and repeatedly shown, the Christian White Supremacists do not care about facts.
