Just had to second Scott's recommendation of 100 Watt Smile... though I admit that I'm biased. I'm an acquaintance of that violinist, Carrie Bradley, who was a member of ED'S REDEEMING QUALITIES and also played on THE BREEDERS albums (and briefly was a member).
