I remember thinking that was going to bite us in our collective asses way back when, when all the "star lifestyle" magazines and shows like "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" started pumping images of Gilded Age excess into everybody's brains, breakfast lunch and dinner, all while deregulating banking and finance laws and gutting white collar crime enforcement, accelerating the process of sucking capital into fewer and fewer pockets. And now we have the pitchfork and torches set out protesting for the rights of billionaires.
