I do believe the Republican party has ceased to exist, has not existed since Lara Trump got her hands on the RNC, that to me looked like the end of it. Trump's victory means MAGA has killed the party and any notion of them being "conservative."

That's done. In terms of if some of them have fully surrendered to this? I don't know, if they had I would think Rick Scott would be running the Senate. Will there be any resistance from any of these people with an R next to their name? Probably very little, but these picks he is making are going to get people killed and, in all likelihood, a lot of people if they are actually seated in these positions. 

It is a test, I understand that, he wants to see if he can put totally unqualified and dangerous people in these positions, I know Trump does not care how many people he gets killed, but if they go along with it...they also own the death count whatever it ends up being. I know they understand that. 

I think people like Kennedy and Gabbard would have been people that only a short time ago "Republicans" would have railed against. Sure, some of these shit picks they would have backed just because they are destructive to the institutions and agencies they would be running, but some of these picks stand in opposition to what supposed "Republicans" support. 

Gabbard's education is in television production and I don't think she even earned a degree. Then she joined the military, and she studied martial arts. She has absolutely zero qualifications to run anything, certainly not to be DNI. She also was part of a cult and is considered to be a foreign intelligence asset. Even suggesting her as DNI should have just made people laugh. I know much of the population does not care and pays zero attention to who Trump is picking to fill these positions. 

Their interest ended when Trump was elected...they trolled us all and owned the Libs with that. Great, but I guess we'll know if the Senate Republicans rubber stamp some of these picks, it means nothing to be a Senator anymore, it already meant nothing to be a House rep, one guy runs the show, the whole show top to bottom and he is intentionally putting the worst people possible in positions that will likely kill people. People here, and all over the world. 

I guess we watch who gets through confirmation, who gets a recess appointment and then we will know as the roller coaster pauses at the top of the first hill, how terrifying the ride is going to be. 

I keep hoping there is some fight left in these people, but I do understand completely, why you smell surrender.
