Peter, I have tried to have the conversations. Those things I said apply just to in person discussions, not online encounters, which basically are a free for all in my opinion. 

I have managed to get through to a few people. I think I temporarily get through most of the time. When I am with them, they are open to what I am saying, but when they get back to the bubble...well...whatever I said goes out the window. 

I don't think we should shut off lines of communication with people, but I do understand how frustrating it is, and because Trump, the people that work with him, and his elected MAGA supporters can be so vile, I totally get why there is an instinct not to engage with them at all. 

Trump himself is temporary, he probably only has a couple years left if that, he is not in good health and lives a shit lifestyle. So, I don't think he will plague us much longer, but I wonder what happens to the MAGA weirdos when he is gone.
