I know, I just found it odd when he popped up here again, strange timing. I mean right after you posted a book suggestion on fascism, Pat drops in to "school" you on fascism. 

Sometimes it is really hard to know if Pat is for real. Is this guy that far out there? I understand why Dslacker laughs, there is a strange comedy to it. I understand why he aggravates people here, he seems impenetrable, no matter what anybody says. 

I just can't help but want to throw one more thing at him. See if he will look at it, examine it, if it gives him pause in any way. And I know we've done 20 some years of it with him, and I did it a lot and got nowhere. 

I know he takes in information and then regurgitates it. I know this because over all these years, each time the Republican party shifted to some new weirdness, Pat would show up and say it. 

As an example, the new thing from MAGA land about Harris is that she was "anointed" and that her becoming the candidate was a coup. Well, there is Pat above using the phrase "Harris was anointed." and trying to sell the idea that this means the Democrats are not into democracy. That's right out of the playbook. So, he learned that, he took in the info and was able to repeat it in the way it was meant to be used. Slander Harris, accuse the Democrats of abandoning democracy. 

This tells me Pat can take in new info and that it impacts the way he thinks. Granted, he mostly seems to take in bad ideas and repeat them. This is new info for him, anointing a candidate. He's never used that before. 

I long ago gave up on figuring out how Pat draws his conclusions. I've been reduced to just trying to evaluate if he is able to take in information, understand it, then include it in his communications with others. It looks like he is doing that. 

If Pat is this empty vessel, waiting to be filled with new bizarre phrases from the Heritage Foundation, sitting down there in Texas, learning his lines for the next time he needs to explain something to us...maybe he can be filled with something else...like a pastry, a cream puff, an eclair, something more palatable than these things that seem to have been extracted from one of Dirty Don's diapers when he is done with them. 

Or you know, maybe this is just one more of those moments where you and EEE are looking at me going "Uh oh, Reg is trying to have a conversation with an empty soup can again. Grab him before he embarrasses himself."
