Marc, that is polite, that you said you would remove yourself, really. I mean, again, in my post to you about 9/11, I was serious that I think you have feelings for your fellow human beings, and you seem to express that again here.
This "conservative" thing though, it makes zero sense. I am not angered that you say it, can't speak to how David feels about it, but really, unless you have a really bizarre definition of what a conservative is, this is just totally confounding.
I mean nothing, not one single thing about Trump or anything he has done, and nothing in his blasphemous 4 years as president points to him being a conservative. In fact, every single thing about the guy and what he has done to the Republican party indicates he wants to utterly annihilate conservatism. I mean everything.
Paul Ryan quit the second Trump was elected president because he knew the destructive force Trump would bring to bear on conservatism. You once complained to me about the amount Obama added to the debt during his 8 years as president, Trump added the same amount in 4. The taxes cuts for the wealthiest of Americans were catastrophic in terms of adding to the debt.
Are you trying to make us laugh with this? For me, personally, it just creates confusion. Saying you are a conservative and that you support Trump is like saying you are a pacifist but you think Israel should kill every last Palestinian.
I'm not mad at you, I don't hate you or anything, I just can't make heads or tails of what you are saying. Your own statements conflict with each other to a degree that I can't imagine what is going on in your head. I'm lost.
If you were a conservative, I'd be fine with that. I imagine anybody here would. But how does Donald Trump the anti-conservative fit into that?
