I think you have to understand how we feel here, Mick. As David tried to explain to you, it's not about red and blue to us, its not about parties or about just backing Biden because we are Americans. None of that really applies. It's about us walking a wire here in the US between an authoritarian fascist group that are as close to taking over this country as they have ever been and right now Joe Biden is the primary guy standing between that happening and potentially the whole world shifting into a very dark place. 

So, when you say the things you say about him, when you "same as the other" him over and over, you are just grinding salt into our open wounds. We have all kinds of people doing that here in the states, Mick. They are speaking just like you, saying exactly what you are saying, claiming Biden is just the same as Trump, or Bibi, or Putin. They are using the same talking points you are, they are calling Biden a child killer just like you are, and they are saying he is no different than any other rotten politician. 

The only difference is, they are saying it intentionally to cause harm to Biden and to assure he does not get reelected...because they want us to go down that road into the dark, ending democracy, and allowing the rise of...well...evil through allowing Trump to take hold of this country and start punishing everybody. 

Basically, yes, you are in another country and so to some degree you don't have the same bunch of people there that are saying the things you are because they want Trump...but when you say it, you are echoing them. That's going to sting for us, not because we don't understand what you are saying but because it makes you sound as if you are taking the side of the fascists. And believe me, I know you are not, but I honestly would not say some of the things you are saying because it makes you sound as if you are on the side of the fascists. Why would you want to sound like them?

One of the most gigantic things we want people in the US to understand is that Biden IS NOT AT ALL LIKE Trump, or Putin, or Bibi. So, it is painful when you add your voice to that noise. That's one of their biggest messages, that Biden is the same as those horrid piles of shit...and he most certainly is not. 

Biden is a politician, he has to say some things in public and some things can't be said because there is either a deal in place, or an ongoing negotiation, or they are trying to finesse the situation into a better place. He's got to balance what he says to do several things. 

But come the fuck on, man, Biden could not have stopped Hamas or the Israelis from killing who they have killed. He has no way of doing that, and it is pretty goddamned impressive he got them to a temporary ceasefire. He reacted, likely, as best as anybody could when a group of terrorists attacks a heavily armed ally with a predilection for wildly excessive responses. Biden has nothing to do with killing those kids and all he can do is try to slow it down and apply diplomacy. It's amazing he was as effective as he was in just a two month span. 

We are not waving the flag or just backing Biden because he is our president...we are backing him because it is at this moment in history, the sane and sensible thing to do and it will prevent a lot more dead kids and innocent people. That's it.
