Though I think the most brutal press encounter I had was one he wasn't even there for—the guy who hosted World Cafe in I think Boston actually pulled out a bunch of stuff about my father, out of nowhere and started interrogating me. I babbled a bit and Will Sexton bailed me out by counting the band in, and we just started playing. But that was a bit of a sandbagging, because that kind of quick radio spot is not a great venue for any form of nuance.
