I did see this and know you know this stuff, but thought others might like a further explanation.
Yuri Bezmenov, for example was a KGB disinformation agent who defected to the US in the 70s and through a series of filmed interviews gave viewers a lot of valuable insight into the tactics asnd strategies of Active Measures, though he was almost immediately enveloped in the loving (and well-paying) arms of the John Birch Society and similar outfits.
