There was recently a (real, not joking) article that Irish scientists had sorted out what the world's most beautiful names are. Basically, their conclusion was that to the human ear the most beautiful names are ones that end in an "ee" sound. So, really if we want to seem more beautiful to our fellow human beings we should end our names with that sound. This means we should be calling each other Davey, Danny, Mickey, Petey, Joey, etc...

So, you guys with names like Kevin and Eric are...well...fucked. 

I was a bit confused by this article and so wrote an email to one of these Irish scientists about this and mentioned when the Irish get drunk, which you know almost never happens, they throw that "ee" sound at the end of bloody everything. The response I got was one sentence:

"Never thought of that you cunt!"

I think there is a reason you never hear too much from Irish scientists.
