...because your transformation gives me hope that others can crossover as well. I don't recall now if you were one of the "musketeers" here with Pat, Marc, and Dale back in the earlier days of this message board. I never thought it was fair to group all of you guys together because it never seemed to me that you all shared the same beliefs. If I recall, you were an anti-abortion Right winger, Marc was the guns guy, Dale I thought was a fiscal conservative, and Pat...well...Pat was always really difficult for me to get a handle on. You, Marc, and Dale I thought were concise with explaining why you believed what you did. What the issues were that drove you. Pat was never easy to nail down. He did not seem driven by guns (I think he said he does not own one), he did not seem like the abortion thing influenced him much, he probably aligned a bit on some of the issues Dale discussed, taxes, economy, the financial side, but other than that, I've never really understood what the items were that really concerned Pat. 

I'll be honest, of all of you guys, if you were to ask me back then, I would have said you would be the hardest guy to get to crossover because I thought it is the anti-abortion crowd that were the most buried in their beliefs that you could never get them to see daylight. 

But you did. You are sort of a minor miracle to me and reading your thoughts now always makes me feel better because I always think "Wow, this guy really gets it and was able to leave some very strong beliefs behind."

You are a good man, Kevin, and I am very happy to have known you all these years. Thank you.
