There is a whole series presenting evidence that Murdoch is working with and for one or more foreign intelligence services specifically to do harm to the United States and other democracies. 

If you just look at what FOX does, what Tucker Carlson does specifically, it all appears to be to harm the United States and to benefit enemies of the United States and other working democracies. In that light, what they do makes sense, including being willing to pay out almost a billion dollars so they could spread election lies to destroy our electoral system. When you look at who benefits from their actions, it is not the United States nor its people nor our allies. That's plainly obvious. 

I think Murdoch's other primary goal is to undermine people's faith in the media, he has succeeded spectacularly at that and Carlson was his best soldier in that regard. If you don't trust the people whose job it is to inform you...you will be uninformed.
