I don't like cancel culture either nor would I want or allow that to be a thing. Democrats I know would not want that either. Honestly, Pat, weird woke crap and cancel culture stuff is nonsense to me. I think the people into that stuff are the weird Right, who think it is a major thing, and the weird Left that promote some of that. I think most people think it is all just bullshit to distract people though...and that is exactly what it is.

Lieberman is putting the thing together, No Labels is what he calls it, he is not the candidate. He has discussed Manchin being their presidential candidate and of course Manchin loves screwing the Democrats so I'm sure he'll do that. All that would do is drain votes from the two main parties, but probably it would drain more from Biden...so, if you like Trump, you want Lieberman to run a third party candidate. If it is straight Biden vs. Trump, Trump will lose probably by a larger margin than he lost in 2020, perhaps far larger. Sure, he will then say it was all rigged and we would be back to years of Trump and his fellow nutjobs bullshitting every day about how they won but at that stage I would hope other Republicans would be pointing out that he is lying his ass off. 

This is why Trump has to prosecuted for the 91 felonies he committed. Our country needs him to stop trying to destroy our elections and so he must pay for his crimes. If they let him off, that just encourages him to do it again.

Agreed but isn't there someone aside from Trump you would prefer? I mean, 91 felonies? Trying to rig an election? Trying to wipe out the votes of the majority of Americans...surely you must see that as a crime he needs to pay for.

What are they doing to destroy it, Pat? They are working to preserve the Constitution and our electoral system. They are fighting for your vote counting and that a guy like Trump can't come after you and accuse you of something that is a lie and ends up ruining your life. They are fighting for our justice system and the rule of law. That's kind of the opposite of destroying democracy. 

Biden is weak and pathetic.  Kamala is just embarrassing.

He's no great shakes and it seems his popularity numbers are as bad as Trump's but thanks to the Democrats, he's all we've got. The Democrats really wanted Kamala to be president. They got her in as vice president. She's not a good campaigner, not as bad as DeSantis, but she is down there. She was a good senator and I think should have stayed one. If they turn to her to be a presidential candidate...well...they are asking for trouble.

Well, the Republican party has really destroyed themselves with Trump, but they knew it would happen, said so before he was elected in 2016 and so have got all they deserved...just as Lindsey Graham said they would. The Democrats are disappointing, I admit, but are at least dedicated to this country and its people.  

Count on Trump by a wide margin.

Well, right now he remains the clear leader by far of the Republican party. Which pretty much locks them into losing the presidential election and probably a lot more. The Republicans are on the wrong side of a bunch of issues that have been causing them to lose over and over. Until they can clear themselves of Trump, I think they are locked in to those losses.
