That's interesting and I can definitely see that. I thought the same thing that you could take songs from all the records to create this story. I did not know what you had in mind to use as the throughline so, I thought of a story where politics and that world, the military, the CIA, senators all would be intertwined for a young man that went from thinking he was following in the family footsteps, protecting his country, to becoming disillusioned with what he was really involved with and how the things he did were to serve someone else's ends.
I guess I invented that idea out of the liner notes from Triage and what some of the songs made me feel.
The destruction theme was all part of it though, so totally aligned on that.
