You can hear the high-pitched whine of the giant woodchipper. Trump immediately began posting some truly bizarre shit the moment Ron announced on Twitter...which I guess was a mess. I don't know how to post here Trump's responses and the utterly insane video parody he posted that I guess was meant to be a parody of the Twitter announcement. It included Satan, Hitler, George Soros, Dick Cheney and the FBI as supposed DeSantis backers. I am not even joking. It was funny basically because it was so unhinged. You can watch it here and I recommend watching it just because it is so nuts it must be seen to be believed:

Trump has Ron in league with Satan, Hitler, George Soros, and the FBI right out of the gate. Let's make no mistake here, even with all Trump's legal trouble, Ron DeSantis is his enemy number one. He is going to all out slaughter the guy. It does not help that DeSantis has plummeted in polling, has his own legal messes, has pissed off the donor class of Republicans and lost donors, and the guy is by all accounts a total asshole that nobody likes when they meet him. He's not the savior that Republicans thought he would be when they went all in backing him as the guy to help them get rid of Trump.
However, out of the candidates that are running against Trump in the Republican primary, DeSantis is the only one capable it seems to barely get into double digits against the Donald. Trump still gets two to three times the votes that Ron can muster but people like Nikki Haley and Tim Scott are lucky to get 1 to 5% of the votes. The Republicans have nothing to stop Trump and he won't bow out for the good of the party, if by some miracle Trump gets thrown in jail, he will fund raise and run from jail. Which he is allowed to do.
They also have the issue that Trump sets all the rules for the Republican primary process. He owns the MAGA block of voters and will not surrender them. He backed one other Republican candidate, Tim Scott, and he did that because he knows MAGA voters will never vote for him. Guess why.
DeSantis claims, they are now going to start attacking Trump. What he means is, he won't directly but his surrogates will. In other words, let's throw some of them in the woodchipper first and see how that looks.
Honestly, I can't wait for this. One of the rules of the Republican primary is, you may not attack Trump and you must say that his legal problems are part of a Democratic witch hunt run by Joe Biden.
HA! It's so stupid it is awesome. Joe Biden and the Democrats have nothing to do with Trump's legal problems, Trump dug all those holes himself. The only person on the planet that Biden has good polling numbers against is Donald Trump. That's it! The Republicans could run Kim Jong Un or Putin against Biden and probably win.
Biden's best friend in the world if he wants to be president again is Donald Trump. Trump is the only one that can assure a Biden win. FOX news tried to point that out to viewers and their ratings dropped and Trump fans were furious.
The Democrats have nothing to do with what is happening to Trump. The Republicans are the ones that desperately need Trump locked up and if he is, they have to question if they can beat him in a primary from jail. Chances are, they can't because his supporters would support him even more if he was locked up.
