Have you heard of the band The Mavericks ?? The haven't released an album in 5 years and I thought they were gone. But No !! Joy Joy they are back.(New album sep 23)

This band is one of my all time favorites. Labeled country, but they cover so much more musical ground than that. They have had a tough time getting airplay as they are too complex (in style) for country radio and too country for pop radio. But in the past this band has never disappointed me. They seem to have a new member and the only new material I've heard is on the we site.

Anyway they will be in Austin:

I think this band is worth checking out.
