The reason I have issues envisioning a real civil war here, Mick, is that the people that want to have one, the right wing nuts here, are incredibly, and I mean just stunningly, stupid. 

I'm not saying they can't or won't cause harm or death but really these people are so comically dumb that it is hard to imagine them getting anywhere. The idiotic shit they think is true is just beyond all comprehension. 

I don't know how much you see of our wacko right wing politicians over there in the Shire but these people are incredibly stupid. I mean jaw dropping dumb. When Trump goes on TV and says he can declassify things by just thinking about it, it is hilarious, but then you do have to think "Holy crap this guy was elected president!"

We've always had an issue on the right that about 20-25% of them have strong fascist leanings but that has now been entwined here with this embrace of pure stupidity that is mindboggling. You would think that the smarter people in the Republican party would be just using the less intelligent people as pawns but they seem to have lost all control of them and the morons, like Trump and Marjorie Greene are running the show. These idiots are dictating the direction they are going in and people are following them off a cliff like lemmings. 

I just have a hard time believing that these morons are going to be able to have a successful revolution. I think the tide may be turning a bit here in the States and people are recognizing how stupid the Trump movement is. 

I would not say we are going to get out of it without some deaths. At this point that seems almost unavoidable because the Trump cult has really become a death cult. However, I think people will bail on it when they see how tragic that really becomes.
