Thank you.  What Erik wrote moved me so much.  I decided that I'd read it aloud to my younger son, to whom I've told the story of that special night many times.  As I tried to do that, putting some suitable dramatic weight into his description of events at the 1982 Mt. Hood festival, I found that it simply wasn't possible.  Had to stop 4 times to cry. But at least, I think the power of that moment that I had tried to describe so many times was finally and fully clear to my son.  I know what Erik wrote was pretty long so I thank those of you who took the time to read it.  Mr. Bauer would be honored.
