This was a good post, Peter.  It got to the heart of a few things I was trying to express over the last several months, and it did so better than I could.  Took a while to reply as oldest son and I were away on a short trip to Iceland (COVID-free for over 40 days) and enjoying a sort of normalcy.  Of course, that absolutely included an exploratory trip to 12 Tonar record store and also the brave consumption of hakarl (which we actually finished!)
