Oldest son, the one with the congenital heart issue that put him in Group 1B, today:
10:05 AM - gets e-mail that he can get first Pfizer vaccine shot today
11:00 AM - leaves house, and since he's just over 18, goes to medical center alone (I was asked to not come by the hospital themselves)
11:50 AM - gets shot, no significant complications
12: 55 PM - arrives home, has lunch
1:45 PM - goes to the school (which was a "work from home" day for students) and turns in a scholarship application
2:30 PM - stays at school and has 2 hrs of baseball practice
Now THAT's a day. We'll have to prepare a bit more for March 3, when the booster comes. Friends I know who have had it say the 2nd shot sometimes leaves you feeling a bit sick for about 24 hrs. All have been fine ever since.
