It's cognitive dissonance on the part of the 44.  They simply cannot admit what was obvious.  I saw most of Trump's speech the night before that incident.  He might be able hide behind some words in that he wasn't so explicitly violent.  But some of his words were, and his tone and insinuations were to do pretty much exactly what happened.  You cannot watch his speech and think otherwise.  Guilty.
