In a way, those "crazies" may have done us all a favour. They lowered any "cool factor" in opposition times for Trump supporters massively. The blow they dealt to his personal credibility (and possibly even his future freedom) appears to have eroded his brand much more than the smaller incidents that I was citing here last month.
