I count at least 11, trying to be charitable with a few of them.  I'm not sure all those equal Fascism as much as they are "road to Fascism."  The executive branch has to have enough power to make the final step.  Since Trump will lose in 3 months (truly believe that this time), I don't think he does.  If there had not been Coronavirus, he might have.  

When I lived in Venezuela and saw Chavez rise, these steps were even more explicit and obvious.  One thing Chavez had that Trump doesn't really have was almost absolute control over the media (thanks to legislation and rules slipped into their 1999 Constitution) and also a very tight embrace of the military.  I don't think Trump enjoys such trust from our military.  In fact, I've seen him contradicted by them at times.

That's really looking for a silver lining, though.  Let's check back in 3 months.

Good news here in Texas?  COVID hospitalizations 7-day average has been declining for over 30 days now.  Daily deaths in decline for about 17 days now, too.  To my eyes, mask compliance has gotten quite good, at least indoors.  Almost universal.
