Were I a Christian, recent events would be encouraging.  Not religious, I am spiritual, sharing with every human spirit on this planet a certain, not always realized, sense of oneness.  So, I too, feel encouraged.

My hope is that members of other religions and others like me and as far as I can tell, all the members of this board, religious or not, are feeling it too.

Why?  Pandemics!  Racism, poverty, global warming, covid - 19, social media untruths, in that order, to any one of which the solution has long term survival implications.
