I listened today and actually found quite a bit of common ground. Back in the late 80s and early 90s when I was at Yale, I knew a pretty good number of African-Americans who were more like these guys than like what often see on TV. These two get into space about halfway through where they start talking about a softer kind of racism where the current Democrats (or some of them) do damage applying a sort of racism of low expectation and assumption - which doesn't negate the damage done by White supremacy or prejudice. It's such a difficult space for a discussion, especially for a white guy. But it's interesting, and I found myself staying for the whole thing.
