And still in accompaniment, we can't forget a pandemic still taking a majority of lives of African-Americans because they still suffer the environment wished upon them by KKK era racists whose members used rope nooses  to show contempt for an entire race. 

The like-minded police officer used his knee to replace the rope preventing his pleading victim from breathing in life, the only difference in the end being the absence of the humiliating twisting and turning.

Our societal measure of progress, presented to us by this horrific, tragic murder, will be how quickly and how in-kind the response will be.

Here in the midst of this pandemic,  we are given the opportunity to begin, one again, to make all-encompassing and permanent amends for four centuries of insult to heirs of a kind and gentle and god-loving race, members of which left Africa a couple of million years ago and spread across all continents, making all who inhabit this planet their genetic heirs, including ignorant ingrates who spit on them.
