I believe one could trace back this entire milieu of obstructionism, fueled by the no-compromise tactics of the tea party republicans, to the moral-selfishness of Ayn Rand whose advocates--two of whom are Paul Ryan and Grover Norquist, with his no-tax pledge he forces on newly elected politicians-- have been able to deflect any business they don't want to pass, yet able to blame the do-nothing congress on Barack Obama.

Thus, the bad taste Trump's base has for the Washington establishment stems, ironically, from the very Representatives and Senators its members elected as a result of Obama's "onerous" health plan. Congressmen who opposed, mainly Obama's infrastructure funding--which would have put millions to work at good wages; and after the republicans got control of the Senate, anything else the president sought with which to improve the economy, who, irritated, responded with his veto pen to anything the republicans proposed. DEADLOCK!

An example of obstreperousness is the Pacific Trade deal, ordinarily hyped by the republicans, but opposed because it's Obama pushing it. Now, both candidates oppose it.

We have been cursed with the paranoid ramblings of an emotionally, 12 year old girl, who watched the Soviets seize her parents property, then fled to America and overacted both to the "selfishly moral" right to accumulate wealth as well as to the fear of big government.

Now we are threatened by an overly rich Oligarchy who buy elections, politicians, and members of the Supreme court--one of their own says he is going to put an end to it--and a government paralyzed into inaction.
