Jus noodlin’ere, E, but I imagine to “the artist” ..it’s largely the aspect of laying it down. In the can or on the canvas or in the air & on the fingers ‘cross the keys, reeds, strings, VOX & skins. Just that.
Then if it gets out & around: Cool. Heard & liked: Better. Empathized with or otherwise drawn from in solitary &/or interpersonal ways: OM. Sustained through decades & recalled: Cosmic
How many “Cosmics” can/will you recommend in this thread..? (Most of us wouldn’t even have to leave this site to gather a heady handful of ‘em. No? …But that’s subjective, I suppose——some would even say cultish.)
