I have lived in Newtown for 19 years. I have three kids in the school system, aged 6 thru 15. My 12 and 15 year olds are devastated, as we all are. It's senseless, and horribly sad. My youngest attends another elementary school in town. She does not know what's occurred. I hope to not have to address with her at such a young age. Our town is a small, quiet suburban town. You never think it will happen here. My heart goes out to the children and families who have all lost loved ones today.
