I have thought about this and can't come up with anything of this magnitude.
I am curious as to whether your maternal grandmother was succumbing to
dementia
or was always such a twit. The reason I wonder is that my aunt, as
dementia descended upon her, began to make extremely hurtful comments about her
family. I later found out that this is a symptom.
