To play Devil's Advocate: people born into powerful families rarely stray from their religious affiliation,
at least publicly. But it's a real leap to say that Romney or anyone else from a similar background
accepts all the crazy precepts lock stock and barrel. Barack Obama is a Christian. Do you also say that he accepts that a man could be swallowed by a
whale, spit back up, and live to tell about it? Could all the world's animals really be gathered two by
two and preserved in a large wooden ship for a month without adequate food or sanitation? Religion and a perceived duty to family are a complicated set of intellectual binding chains.
