I do not think that because I think that Ron Paul is an ideologue and a lightweight that I have somehow given up on ideas or learning or have somehow become narrow minded. And i don't see how that interferes with a sense of compassion, curiosity, etc;

Read the report of last night's Republican debate in the NYT this morning and you tell me where a single fucking worthwhile idea resides with any of those dopes. And yes, Ron Paul was there.

I don't think that using Ross Perot as an example of an antidote to our political malaise is an effective argument. That cat was bat-shit crazy ...

And how did poor Patti Smith get mixed up in all this?
