A Kindle is not a tablet. It's an e-reader.I like mine a lot. Portable, easy to use, etc.
You can get mags, newspapers, other content. Some
free, some paid. Cost of most content lower than
hard copies. You can send yourself PDFs to read on
the Kindle. There are disadvantages. If you want to flip back, say,
25 pages, you have to go back and forth one click at a
time. No color. I downloaded the guide to my desktop
to be able to get instructions and tips more quickly -Still like reading "real" books, too.But for convenience, the Kindle is great. I don't have a tablet yet but am dying for one. Different
breed. Color, games (don't much care), music, internet,
camera. More like a laptop.Depends on your needs, wants and budget. Lots of new
tablets coming out plus a rumor that Amazon will eventually
provide free Kindles to all premium customers (which makes
sense).
