Icon the pain & the shame of surrender

After listening to Noam Chomsky tonight (..no doubt I’m the slowest au fait dbiser to the punch..) it finally sunk in ..just now: For the remainder of my endeavors dbisly, whenever I shoot for idealisms in the American vein, or aim for the discussion of fair practices in the relationship between we, the people, & them, the banking corpora, or any notions that certain nobility of Western decency seize it’s brand new day in the sun from sea to shining sea (perhaps again, if ever), then I will be doing so in the cerebral haze of a natural ..or unnatural wave of euphoria or a manic height of giddy slap-happiness ..or, conceivably, the continuing approach of American-born dementia. Why? Because it would seem (& I cringe at my jejune naiveté after all I’ve been through) that fairness & decency has NEVER been at the forefront of policy---merely a side tone, at best a carnival barker’s pitch. What a bummer. That means that 90% of my entire shtick has fallen obsolete. Fork is pretty much in. Whathehell am I gona do with myself now?

Howbout an oldie (still philosophically relevant) but a goodie (packed with 8 essential vitamins & minerals) …
