This eras teflon-protected men are those very same crooks who today, less than two years after their provoking a near collapse of our economic, nay, the world's economic system, draw record thumb-nosing incomes and bonuses, while millions of Americans juggle meager income among groceries, rent, healthcare, and gas.

Messy, if all those avenues of communication, you mention, have been shut down by the inattentive corruption of one-time well intentioned legislators, governors, mayors, etc., surely there's enough brainpower on this board to come up with a solution that will get the attention of the recalcitrant politician in some new way we've not used before.
