While I have no problem with songwriters lifting ideas from outside sources, I do have a problem with Mr. Dylan not crediting his source of inspiration. I own numerous recordings by artists that have lifted either ideas or actual words from authors. They all have credited the source (usually an author) under the song lyrics or give credit(s) somewhere in the sleeve notes. Did Mr. Dylan credit his source anywhere in the sleeve notes? Did this recording win any awards?
