***Thurs., Dec 3 Special Presentation: Aimee Mann, Grammy-winning, Oscar-nominated singer-songwriter (http://www.aimeemann.com). The Lecture, "The Importance of Narrative in Art and Therapy," will be held in the CMHC Auditorium from 11:00-12:30. In the 1980's, Ms. Mann came to prominence as a member of the group 'Til Tuesday. That group disbanded in 1989. Since that time, she has toured internationally and issued critically acclaimed CD's including "Lost in Space," Bachelor No. 2," "The Forgotten Arm," and "@#%&*! Smilers." Her songs are distinguished by great musical and lyrical depth, and by references to addiction, depression, and the challenges of relationships.
