NFL was cool today, Cassie, although our team lost (new season, same ol’). Tennis was a nice build-up today but NYC rains set that back a day---No sweat, tomorrow’s a new day. Djokovic so lucked-out (had a shaman do a rain dance). *USA won the FIBA Basketball Championship, and that was a helova game (best entertainment this Sunday). But we, in this house, are with you, being football bums too, although it looks like you’re more used to a team that wins some ..wins some more, while we have been taking a licking since 1964. ....Now excuse me, while I lose a few more brain cells to this frakin’ MTV Music Awards—perhaps the last one I will ever watch…unless Rock can get out from under corporate f#ckthumb and free our youth to express themSELVES again. ((((At least..I think ..anyway..our sons have a little “self” left percolating within ..at least I ..think ..at least I ..think.. (sigh)
