HeathThe political system which corporations now control, the system our founders formed with a distinct distrust of corporations, is our hope, that is if we can grasp enough of it to wrest it from the corporations whose interests are in direct opposition to ours.Or maybe its the latter we must realize first. That's hard to do what with all the propaganda the corporate owned TV and radio stations put out to the contrary.MessYes, ideally, I have to agree, best I get it, that our founders formed with a distinct distrust of corporations. But on a more noir closed door toke a stogie and sip a 12 year old reference point...~~The original intention (invention) of “politics” was an opportunistic (entrepreneurial) aim to use the notion of public service as a means to rake revenues from the unsuspecting citizenry by controlling legislation, pacifying (or in some instances inciting) mobs, & protecting (sheltering) the incomes of (dubious but bountiful) corporate allies. & because they set out to control the mouthpieces of all mouthpieces, they became the best at it ..and NOW they are the most powerful vocal entity in the world, doing (with the big gun and the medium screen) the dirty deed for the corporate steed. & so what does that mean? Well. Like Heathcliffe said, sorta, unless somebody of gigantic affluence is willing to stick her/his neck out and commit a major act of morality/ethics ..well, then, we are purtymuch fucked. I mean, they have pertnear resigned themselves to puppet-citizenry-under-glass in the UK. Germany, Russia, China, etc. are all too preeminently conquest minded to ever take the leap of decency on any scale larger than hand to hand, heart to heart, you know, the people, as there are always good people to be found. Australia and vicinity is just too, ..well, uh, cozy in nowheresville to do anything other than follow etiquette, enjoy the weather, and live like Americans in the late 70s all happy and shit (and that’s cool, wish I may, wish I might), South America, like much of Africa, is a meat packing plant where `he who shoots the biggest bullets and has the craziest eyes get’s all the prizes`, so that ain’t happenin’, the Middle East has the best food and the biggest permanent shitstain in the world, and Canada, the Netherlands, etc., Scots, Ireland, Wales, etc., Italy, France, Spain, etc., are all too peachy in their workaday, holiday, schmoliday, ain’t we gay, what the fack's wrong with the rest o’ ye blokes, ciao & holy-cash-cow ways ..to poke their heads into the firefight. So that leaves the Good ol’ Boy You Ess Ayyy vs the Intellectual You Ess Ayyy in mutually satisfyin' cahoots with the twisted creepy fuck-all me me my my now now now corporo-assassin You Ess Ayyy, ...and that doesn’t leave much hope. Kinda gives a guy a feeling he understands why there hasn’t been any kind of follow-up to the greatest rock & roll album ever recorded. We’ve all gone rogue, everymanwomanchild for itself, rats in a maze, let the chips fall where they may long as I land me a lucrative gig with a big fat logo on the watermark, lay low, ride out WWIII without ending up in debtor’s prison. Too bad for you if your earnest blood got poisoned by the toxic profits of the ludicrous and you lose the ability to earn the (near 50% taxed) 80 thousand a year you were living & loving happily on, due diligently, give or take a fuckup here & there, ..and robbed o the health insurance that was supposed to be an assurance; you missed the cut, it’s just natural selection, some die so that others may live, cha-ching-yyou-screwed-the-pooch, you may be creative but you didn’t work it hard enough and you weren’t in the right place and the RIGHT time ..so your art is a joke and your going broke and looking around at empty refrigerator boxes to broker to your fellow gound-pounders ..and mobile tokers; I’ll avoid you or toss you a dolla if I see ya, such is life, so be it, stranger, brother, sister, poor bastids coulda been contenders………
What’s that on the tube? …a ..21st ..Cen-tur-y ..FOX.
