ding ding ding, you got your answer there Cy, just because I don't own it, doesn't mean I haven't heard it... there's a ton of music I own from the 80's that I can't bare myself to give a spin today. The beauty of music is that there are records that will effect us all on a personal level and forever be dear to our hearts, yet never make a surface impression on another. My partner can never see what I get from The Blue Nile or Talk Talk, yet understands Damien Rice and Midlake.

I've prefered to move forward, not that it's anything new or necessarly better, just like the discovery of new music... like bithday gifts to be opened and Christmas morn every time I find someone new to my ears. There will always be the stroll down memory lane, I guess, "Boomtown" was never realy in it? I became a full-on Baerwald fan during the promotion of his first solo record (Tower Records had a promotion that if you didn't like it you could return it for full refund. I wore out copy #1 and purchased a second.)Then few years later Triage sealed the deal for life.
