I had a wonderful birthday which started on Friday with a luncheon, a fabulous jazz concert by our local Dillard High School band (they recently won first place at the Swing Central in Georgia and are on of 15 bands from across the US selected to compete in the Essentially Ellington contest) on Saturday, then Sunday our local symphony and dinner out.
