I agree, mostly with your post, but every now and then, you need a good POP fix - 10CC, Raspberries, Dwight Twilly anyone? As for the 2D art world, Projectors have been used for a LOOOONG time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hockney%E2%80%93Falco_thesisThis theory has been forwarded in various forms for years - My high school art class went over Camera Obscura use in the Renascence up to present day hyper realism back in the 70's.
