Re: some boomtown questions
The synth was all either yamaha dx-7 or roland juno-60. the bass was a (if i remember correctly) a 63 precision recorded direct into a neve 1073. the drum machine was unfortunate, an early linn, though we did have ed greene play cymbals and toms and such over it. the reason i remember all this is because we didn't have much gear to speak of. in fact the precision wasn't even ours--we borrowed it from a good friend of ours, jay sedrish.
