Saw Hurt Locker tonight and while I was impressed, especially with the ending, I'm still putting in a vote for Avatar as Best Picture. Bigelow might get the directorial nod but I can't see her film grabbing the Best Picture statue. Then again, Crash won, didn't it?
And for Reg: Here's an ultimately depressing backlot reel which reveals just how much of today's movies are CGI...
