For some 3 decades I dig this cat’s lyrics, songs, ..dug his book (jeez, such a long time ago it seems) titled, Is That It?, and marveled at his efforts with Band Aid, etc..  Don’t care much about tabloid maneuverings; a personal life is just that, and a body of honest endeavor is definitive enough, as with any one individual.  Considering his undertakings, he’s a better man than I.  & as a silver-haired older gent, always the persevering underdog of the nouveau riche, he aims high to further some of the more optimistic efforts of those  remaining decidedly skeptical, impetuous, aging ol’ pop troubadours, and freedom fighters, and sages of the bigger essays, and other such furry animals of a hopeful-woeful fold.  Put it up, ..put it down, sweep it under a rug or push it through the cracks, or strafe it to bitter pieces across a Third World tarmac.  …It bounces back.

Anyway, this is worth a listen .. apply it to your own view of the world ..or don’t ..as always it’s up to you.  Peace.
