Perry is an arrogant prick and my guess is that he probably won't win the next election in November. Kay Bailey Hutchison will probably take him out. I don't think a Democrat will take this state for some time to come. I don't know the facts of the death row story you mentioned so I won't comment on that but I don't think Perry will be a presidential candidate.
