I keep telling people to go see Dave Alvin (in any of his Incarnations/Bands) and have yet to hear a negative word.

I also recommend This Guy ...

The follow up single to "I Hear you Knocking" originally recorded in one take, no overdubs. Joe Walsh talked him into playing it again when they did the Ringo's All Star Band tour. Thanks, Joe.

And considering all the work he did partnered with Nick Lowe, you have already heard him.
